چکیده

Micro X-ray fluorescence (μ-XRF) possesses a powerful analytical technique able to detect macro- and micro-elements. Each plant variety has unique elemental composition important role in the germination process. The aims of this study were (1) map elements quantities soybean seed coat endosperm, (2) investigate how various might mediate inter-relationship or correlation between within genotypes with different colors, (3) that targeted morphological characteristics especially would be affected by elements. A μ-XRF was used for analysis quantification. Three Indonesian study: greenish, black, yellowish. In study, we found silicon (Si) magnesium (Mg) have significant correlation. high quantity Si element embryo axis positive root length. Mg which is evenly distributed on endosperm normal germination. seeds negative imbibition water absorption. Based comparison three genotypes, black genotype superior terms higher Thus, can as reference determining superiority at stage.

Detection of visible and latent fingerprints using micro-X-ray fluorescence elemental imaging.

Using micro-X-ray fluorescence (MXRF), a novel means of detecting fingerprints was examined in which the prints were imaged based on their elemental composition. MXRF is a nondestructive technique. Although this method requires a priori knowledge about the approximate location of a print, it offers a new and complementary means for detecting fingerprints that are also left pristine for further ...
